Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette
When Becca first released Champagne Pop, their highlighter collaboration with Jaclyn Hill, it sold out on Sephora in four hours. Since then, Champagne Pop has developed a cult-like following, leading Becca and Jaclyn Hill to collaborate once more and release the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection. I tried to purchase the Becca Champagne Collection Face Palette when it was first released but it sold out so fast. I managed to pick up the palette during the next restock and just got it in the mail yesterday! Read more for my review and swatches of the palette.
According to Sephora, the Becca Champagne Collection Face Palette is a limited-edition palette featuring five shades of highlighter and blush-in collaboration with Jaclyn Hill. The two highlighters include cult-favorite Champagne Pop and a new shade called Prosecco Pop, which was inspired by liquid gold. The three blushes include two mineral blushes called Amaretto and Pamplemousse as well as a luminous blush called Rose Spritz.
The Highlighters:
Champagne Pop: peachy pink
Prosecco Pop: warm gold
The Blushes:
Amaretto: matte toasted almond
Pamplemousse: matte warm coral pink
Rose Spritz: soft peachy pink with pale gold shimmer
Recently we’ve been seeing many brands release duo highlighters. Glossier and Pat McGrath are just two examples where there were two shades – a rosy highlight and a golden highlight. I think what’s unique about the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection is that the shades were created to be layered and the formulas make it easy to mix and match for a custom glowy look. In an interview, Jaclyn Hill said she really made a conscious effort to make sure that the shades were flattering on all skin tones. Champagne Pop is still my all time favorite but I also love the rest of the colors.
The palette comes even comes with a sample of the Becca Backlight Priming Filter!
Where to purchase: Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette, $52 at Sephora
