A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend College Fashion Week for the second year in a row. It’s always such an amazing time with all the stylish fashion looks and fun brand booths. I feel like it’s the perfect time to get fall outfit inspo, especially since the models on the runway were all real college girls.
This year, I went on behalf of Almay! I absolutely loved visiting their beautiful booth, which was decorated with colors inspired by the Almay Cosmic Collection.
The Cosmic Collection from Almay consists of Goddess Gloss, a high-shine holographic lip gloss, the Make Them Jelly™ Hi-Lite, a unique shape-shifting, sparkly jelly and the Limited Edition Shadow Squad™ Eyeshadow Holographic, a palette with four iridescent effects.
At the booth, they had these delicious popsicles featuring ingredients found in some of their products. My popsicle was Raspberry Pomegranate flavored to highlight the pomegranate, grape and raspberry oils found in the Almay Goddess Gloss collection for added moisture and shine.
Yum! Such a fun way to highlight ingredients.
I’m going through a huge lip gloss phase right now because the cold weather is making my lips so dry. Currently my go-to is Almay Goddess Gloss in Flame. It’s kind of a pinky-red tone and is a shade that’s flattering on any skin-tone.
There are a total of 8 shades in the Goddess Gloss Collection so far. Pictured from left to right, the shades are Flame, Angelic, Mystic and Ethereal. The glosses can be worn alone, layered over lipstick or mixed and matched!
One of my favorite combos is layering Flame over a red lipstick. Such a high shine, iridescent look. Another combo I love is to mix Angelic with Mystic. It’s quite delicate and pretty. Overall, I’m a big fan of the formula and love that my lips feel moisturized and smooth when I’m wearing it. The glosses are super versatile so you can create a wide range of looks. Extremely grateful for the opportunity to have learned about the entire collection at College Fashion Week! Can’t wait to see what’s in store next year.
