Glossier You was formulated by the perfumers behind cult favorite Le Labo Santal 33. The fragrance was made to be a “skin small enhancer” that smells like your skin, but better.

Glossier You Fragrance Notes

To recap, here are the notes of Glossier You. There are three base notes and two top notes.

Base Notes:
ambrette: comfy, warm
ambrox: smooth, salty, animalistic
musk: long-lasting, addictive

Top Notes:
iris root: earthy, green, woody
pink pepper: spice, sparkling

The missing in ingredient is you. Because the fragrance is very back note driven, the scent is long lasting and close to the skin.

Glossier You Perfume Solid

The perfume solid version of Glossier You was made to be travel-friendly and easy to use. The format melts into the skin as it releases the scent.

It comes in a super soft pouch which perfectly fits the perfume solid + the Glossier You fragrance sample!

It is encased in a metal compact that is perfectly sculpted to fit the curve of your palm and thumb. The compact itself has a dense weight to it and has a flippable hinged swivel. It kind of reminds me of Kjaer Weis packaging!

To use, all you have to do is swing the compact open and press your finger into the scented base. Then, glide You onto skin, wherever you please. Excellent for the wrists or the neck.

The Glossier You Perfume Solid is only $22 so it makes it a more affordable option than the $60 full sized fragrance. Even though it is small in size, you only need a tiny amount each time so it will still last a long time.

The cute packaging and accessible price point also makes the Glossier You Perfume Solid a great gift. It kind of looks like an egg. Is anyone else seeing this?!?

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and I think both the Glossier You Fragrance and the Glossier You Perfume Solid would make for good presents. The packaging that the two products are housed in are nice enough that you almost don’t need additional gift wrap or packaging.
