A while back, I ordered the Grown Alchemist Amenity Kit and it came with the Vanilla & Orange Peel Hand Cream, Watermelon Lip Balm and the Hydra-Repair Face Cream. Today’s post is a review for the Grown Alchemist Vanilla and Orange Peel Hand Cream!
Grown Alchemist is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It is an Australian brand of luxury organic skincare with natural ingredients. All of their products are free from skin-aging toxins and carcinogens. These include things such as laurel sulphate, petrochemicals, artificial fragrance, nitrosamine releasers, DEA, TEA, paragons, paraffins, synthetic colors and glycols.
According to the Grown Alchemist website, the Vanilla and Orange Peel Hand Cream is described as a non-greasy formulation of moisturizing active botanicals that naturally soothes, softens and hydrates dry undernourished hands and cuticles. Some standout ingredients include cold pressed orange peel oil, grape seed, wheatgerm, rose hip oil and camellia seed oil. These ingredients help with cell regeneration, collagen production and retention of moisture.
The Grown Alchemist Vanilla and Orange Peel Hand Cream smells soooo good. One thing that always bothered me about most hand creams was how strong the scent always is. The Stell describes the scent as a “sophisticated orange creamsicle” and I couldn’t agree more. The hand cream has such a lovely scent without being overbearing. It found the right balance.
Major heart eyes over the packaging. I find that Australian brands like Grown Alchemist and Aesop all have really well designed products. The Grown Alchemist’s products remind me of paint tubes, which I love.
Overall, this hand cream is one of my new favorites and the perfect size to throw into my bag. You can pick it up via the Amenity Kit at Ulta or find the hand cream for sale on its own at Dermstore.
