PSA: Ulta Beauty is finally opening a store in Manhattan!!! I have been waiting for this for the longest time. I remember going to Ulta Beauty all the time with my mom and sister in middle school + high school and am so excited that there will be one within subway distance to me now. They’re even having a grand opening event, read more for details!

ULTA BEAUTY AT COLLEGE FASHION WEEK

Although the Manhattan location hasn’t opened yet, College Fashion Week attendees were lucky enough to get a taste of what Ulta Beauty has to offer at the College Fashion Week Beauty Bar. We had a choice between a makeup touchup or mini hair makeover. I just cut my hair recently so I thought it would be fun to get a little side braid.

Feliciano and Doris were so friendly and helped me choose which hairstyle to go with. Ulta Beauty seriously carries everything and anything you could possibly want when it comes to beauty from skincare to makeup to haircare to fragrance.

My friend Arlina and I had the best time at College Fashion Week and we’re both very excited for Ulta Beauty to have a permanent presence in Manhattan. 

MANHATTAN STORE OPENING

The new store is opening on 86th St and 3rd Avenue, on the Upper East Side. Grand opening events take place from Friday 11/10 to Sunday 11/12. Doors open at 9 am on Friday & Saturday and 10 am on Sunday.

You’ll want to get there early because the first 100 people in line each day receive a Beauty Treat valued at $5-100 plus 10% off a first salon or facial appointment!

If you’re on the fence about what to get, one product I love is the Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief from Clinique. It’s so lightweight but still hydrating. My skin gets drier as the weather gets colder and the Moisture Surge helps keep my skin plump.

One product my boyfriend loves is the Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash from Origins. It has the best texture when you put it on your face, it kind of reminds me of a marshmallow cloud.

Another standout product is this Tarte palette. It has the prettiest shades which are perfect for fall. My cousin saw these colors and liked them enough that she is planning on buying this palette for herself during the grand opening event!
