Last week I checked something off the bucket list and went backstage at New York Fashion Week! It’s been a dream of mine for the longest time to see what goes on behind the scenes. I’ve always wondered what goes on before the models walk down the runway. Luckily I had the chance to see for myself with Make Beauty at the Maryam Nassir Zadeh show. Read more to see what products and tools the makeup artists used to create their runway looks!
The overall look was dewy skin with pops of bright + bold eye shadow color. Glowy skin was created courtesy of Dew Pots. Also very obsessed with the patterning of the Terrazzo Matte Eyeshadow.
Spotted: lots of brushes, sponges, q-tips, Moonlight Primer, Succulent Mist + Makeup Remover.
Also spotted: Soft Focus Foundation and that Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre tucked away in the makeup bag.
Some other things: Glossier Lip Gloss + Cotton Pads, Malin + Goetz Lip Moisturizer, a sprinkling of Chantecaille.
Towards the back there were a bunch of posters with all of the model pictures taped in order. Such cute looks!
Each look is hung individually with a photograph of the model who will wear it. Definitely makes it easier when things get hectic before the show.
That’s a wrap! Thank you so much to the Autumn PR team and Make Beauty for inviting me!!
