Glossier recently released a limited edition Black Tie Set for the holidays! The Glossier Black Tie Set consists of limited edition makeup staples for special occasions. It’s inspired by the holiday party look! Glossy, shimmery and fun.

I love the name of the No. 1 Eye Pencil and how it’s a play on the no. 2 pencil that we use. It has mica micro flecks for a rich, not-quite-black graphite color.  The gel base makes it super easy to apply. My friend Karen used the eyeliner this morning and was impressed by how smoothly it went on.

The lip gloss is SO GLOSSY. It has a long-lasting, glassy finish that doesn’t feel overly sticky on the lips. I’m usually not a lip gloss person but I’m obsessed with this one. I’ll definitely be reaching for this a lot during the holiday season.

The nail polish included in the set is in the very famous #glossierpink shade. It’s funny because I’ve been saying for ages that I wish there was a nail polish in the #glossierpink color and Glossier finally released one!!

The Haloscope is a special-edition shade called Moonstone, a shade exclusive to the Black Tie Set. It is an opalescent glaze that is on the cooler side with flecks of pink and blue. Very different from Quartz and Golden Topaz but perfect for a more makeup-makeup look.

I’ve purchased Glossier’s holiday sets for the past two years now and I’ve never regretted it. These four products aren’t necessarily makeup essentials but are super fun and nice to have. It’s an amazing set to treat yourself or gift to a friend! I plan on stocking up during the Black Friday sale since it’s limited edition and won’t be sold again.
