A few weeks ago, I was invited to try out YUNI Beauty, a brand that makes natural body care products inspired by yoga lovers. YUNI was founded by Emmanuel Rey and Suzanne Dawson, certified Ashtanga Yoga teachers. They wanted to create a mindful green beauty brand of their own that addressed the unique needs of active health seekers. YUNI’s plant-based products are developed in mind for consumers with active modern lifestyles, which I thought was unique. They have products that aid in clean-up and recovery post-workout. I had the opportunity to try the Travel Set with really interesting products like a no-rinse body cleansing foam.

1. No Rinse Body Cleansing Foam

This product was developed for those times when you don’t have time or access to a shower. It’s made with a blend of Neem extract and Aloe Vera so it vanishes and no rinse is needed. I was hesitant when I first tried it because I was worried about the foam leaving my skin sticky with a residue but it actually made my skin feel really soft. I was pleasantly surprised

2. Aromatic Body Mist

This mist smells amazing!!! It contains geranium, bergamot, neroli and sage essential oils with the purpose of helping you achieve deep relaxation. I feel like this mist is perfect for cooling the body down after a yoga practice.

3. Rejuvenating Hand Creme

Next, this hand cream contains fair trade green tea extract and sustainably harvested, certified organic baobab oil. I’ve been hearing many good things about how baobab oil is really good for the skin so I was excited that this product contained it as one of the key ingredients. It’s the perfect travel size so I throw it in my handbag and use it whenever I’m out and about.

4. Concentrated Body Cleansing Creme

For those times when you do have time and access to a shower, YUNI created a body cleansing creme with fair trade turmeric and green tea extract. It contains less water than conventional body cleansers. I have eczema so my skin is very sensitive to soap and this body cleansing creme is way more moisturizing and less harsh than what I’ve used in the past. It’s also less irritating to the skin because it contains natural ingredients and no synthetic fragrances. This is definitely a winner for sure if you have eczema.

5. Hydrating Body Conditioner

Lastly, to round out the five products is a body lotion made with baobab oil and fair trade green tea extract. It reminds me a lot of the hand creme but for the body.

YUNI Beauty creates things with an active lifestyle in mind so overall, this is the perfect set to throw in your gym bag. If I had to choose a favorite product, it would be the no rinse body cleansing foam. I think it’s a really novel concept and super convenient. There are times when I won’t have time to shower right after working out and the foam helps me still feel clean and refreshed. Plus, this line is a winner for those people like me who have eczema.
