I cannot stop collecting beauty samples!!! I am a samples hoarder. Whenever I post pictures of my samples I always get lots of questions about them so I thought I would make a quick guide to beauty samples, such as where to get samples from and what to do with them! Read more for the guide on how to make the most out of your samples.
My collection of Tatcha samples is getting out of hand. I love the packaging of them! They’re so cute. When you make any purchase on the Tatcha website, you can choose three free samples. (Here’s a link to the samples.) Sephora also gives three free samples with any online purchase and sometimes they’ll have Tatcha samples as well.
I recently finished my travel sized Tatcha Ageless Revitalizing Eye Cream (it was in my latest empties post). I absolutely love Tatcha travel sized items because the quality of the packaging is on par with their regular sizes. It makes them easy to reuse and refill.
The travel eye cream container holds around 3 mL, which is the equivalent of three sample packets. Because I’ve ordered from Tatcha way too many times, I had the necessary amount of samples to refill the eye cream. I originally purchased the eye cream for $29 from the Tatcha website so I was definitely very happy to be able to refill it for free, using samples that I’ve already collected.
When you’re cutting the sample packet to refill the container, I would recommend cutting a tiny corner off instead of ripping straight through the sample. This way, you’re better able to control the flow. There’s only a tiny amount inside each packet so you want to make sure you’re getting every last drop!
Looks just like new! I’ll be taking this tiny little eye cream with me whenever I travel. It has enough use for a few weeks and barely takes up any room in my makeup bag.
I plan on doing this to some of my other Tatcha products, like my travel sized Tatcha Soothing Indigo Recovery Cream.
Love samples as much as I do??? You can read all of my posts about beauty samples here, like my post on how to get free Aesop samples and also my post on samples with the best packaging!
