Play! By Sephora August 2016 Box

Another month, another box! Play! by Sephora is a beauty subscription box featuring a curation of five deluxe samples (plus a fragrance bonus) for $10 a month. It’s basically Sephora’s version of Birchbox or Ipsy, but with a couple of bonuses. Last month was my first time receiving the box and I loved everything inside. This month’s box was all about eyes. It was a mix of skincare and makeup and according to Sephora’s website, the products are meant to recharge your beauty routine with striking looks. I love the cute pouches Sephora has in each box. They’re so useful for storing and traveling with beauty products.

To be honest, I liked last month’s box more because I felt like the products were more universally useful. I personally don’t use a lot of eye makeup – I usually just wear this Urban Decay eyeliner + this liner for the wing. However, the Sephora Collection eyeliner that was included in this month’s box is a really pretty plum color. Plums and purples are my favorite shades to use because they bring out brown eyes. I’m excited to test this one out. I’m also happy that Sephoraincluded some skincare products in the box, especially because I’ve recently started using eye creams.
