Skincare Products I’ve Finished: November Empties

Hmmm, it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these posts. Thinking about doing empties posts more regularly as they’re a great way to write reviews of products that I’ve finished to completion. Here are the products I’ve finished in November:

Dermalogica Precleanse
In my normal evening routine, I usually double cleanse so I will start with a cleansing oil/balm and then follow with a cleanser. This is a really great cleansing oil and is the first step to properly remove dirt and makeup. You apply it onto dry skin and then rinse with water so that it emulsifies. One of my pet peeves with cleansing oils is when it is too heavily fragranced but this one had a nice, light scent that wasn’t too overbearing.

Ursa Major Golden Hour Recovery Cream
This cream is so good for the winter weather and for eczema! It contains calendula extract which is calming, hydrating and soothing for the skin. It also contains meadowfoam seed oil, which is really having a moment lately. It’s rich in antioxidants and is easily absorbed by the skin which keeps it from being too oily. I’ll always reach for this cream after a day of skiing or a day outside in the cold.

Tata Harper Clarifying Mask
Tata Harper is known for having some great masks and this is one of their newer releases which is specifically formulated for blemish prone skin. Because it has physical exfoliants, I only used it 1-2 times a month but my skin felt super soft and smooth afterwards each time.

Tatcha Silk Cream
This is a gel-cream moisturizer packed with liquid silk protein that is great under makeup. Gel-cream textures are one of my favorites and this was the perfect lightweight yet still hydrating consistency during my trip to Hawaii.

Farmacy Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizer
Farmacy is a brand that I only recently tried a few months ago but I have enjoyed all of the products so far. The packaging is quite thoughtful as the product came with a spatula that you can use to scoop up the product. As an added bonus, the lid of the jar is a magnet so the spatula sticks to it after you’re done applying the moisturizer!

Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser
I loveee this cleanser.  It has a super interesting texture, kind of like jam? I like that it is packed with beneficial ingredients like matcha, hemp seed oil and Vitamin B5 and isn’t artificially fragranced. Definitely one of my new favorite cleansers and I can’t wait to start my second tube. Krave Beauty was started by one of my friends, Liah Yoo and I love her dedication to researching and releasing outstanding products time after time. They just released a Matcha Hemp Candle that I can’t wait to try out!

Kerstin Florian Caviar Rose Damascena Mist
I’m always a fan of rose water mists and this one is no exception. Rose water mists are so multi-functional because they can be used as a toner, paired with oils or balms or even as a mid-day pick-me-up.
I’m pretty behind on empties posts so more to come! Love documenting the products that I’ve finished throughout the months.
