I started this series last month to highlight some of my favorite beauty discoveries each month, since I am constantly testing out new products. These are my five favorite finds of April. Read more for detailed reviews on why these products made the list!
1. Tatcha Deep Brightening Serum
Okay, so this isn’t exactly a new discovery, but I honestly forgot I had this and discovered it again while I was organizing my beauty collection. Why did I ever stop using it?!? This serum helps with hyperpigmentation without bleaching the skin. Whenever anyone asks for a product that will help with dark spots or acne scars, this is what I recommend.
2. Byredo Mojave Ghost Parfum Travel Vial
I received this travel vial fragrance spray from Byredo as part of the amazing goodie bag from the NYC Glossier rep meetup. Mojave Ghost is a homage to the rare and beautiful ghost flower which grows in the desert without pollination or plentiful water. Such a fun and unique concept! I love everything Byredo releases and this is no exception. It smells so good and is easy to tuck away in a purse.
3. Ursa Major Natural Deodorant
I’ve been in the market for a natural deodorant for quite a while. I had previously tried Agent Nateur, which everyone seems to love. Unfortunately I’m sensitive to baking soda so it didn’t play well with my skin and it ended up in disappointing products list. Luckily, I discovered this one from Ursa Major and it is legit the best deodorant ever!! I actually look forward to applying it every day because it is so soothing on the skin. Is that weird? I also love that this is fragrance free so it doesn’t mix with my perfume. I plan on doing a detailed post on this in the future for sure.
4. Herbivore Blue Tansy Clarity Mask
I recently received a deluxe sample of Herbivore’s Blue Tansy Clarity Mask in one of my recent Sephora orders. It contains blue tansy, fruit enzymes and white willow ark to gently resurface the skin. This mask is gentle but effective and good for breakout prone skin! Plus, I think it smells really good.
5. KNC Beauty Collagen Infused Lip Mask
Last but not least on the list is this lip mask! It is really fun to apply but just a warning, it is huge. The mask basically my entire mouth and chin. It smells a little bit like rubber at first but the scent goes away. The mask tingles when you leave it on because of the rose flower oil, cherry extract and vitamin E formula which hydrates and plumps the lips. It’s perfect to use before special events to make your lips look extra good!
