Winter Lip Saviors:
1. AmorePacific Moisture Bound Lip Treatment
2. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy
3. Glossier Balm DotCom
When the weather gets colder and the air drier, I feel like I end up with persistently chapped lips. I used to get really painful cracks on the sides of my mouth and nothing I tried would help. I’ve tested out so many different lip balms and finally found some that have actually helped. Read more for the detailed reviews on my favorite beauty products that truly work to heal cracked lips!
AmorePacific Lip Treatment: 0.34 oz/$35, Sephora or Nordstrom
This lip treatment is quite pricey but is truly the best repairing lip balm I’ve ever used. When I get really bad cuts on the side of my mouth that don’t go away, I use this. I’ve recommended this to so many of my friends and they’ve all agreed that this treatment is magic. It contains bamboo sap, green tea seed oil extract and red ginseng to revive chapped lips.
First Aid Beauty Lip Therapy, 0.5 oz/$12, Sephora
An employee recommended this lip therapy balm from First Aid Beauty as a more affordable alternative to the AmorePacific Lip Treatment. While I don’t love the texture and feel of this balm as much as I love the one from AmorePacific, this is definitely a good pick in terms of value.
Glossier Balm Dotcom, 0.5 oz/$12, Glossier (link gives you 20% off your order!)
This salve by Glossier is universal so I use it for everything, not just lips but also cuticles, cuts, dry elbows, etc. For lips specifically, I love to put it on at night before I sleep and use it as an overnight treatment. Plus, the packaging is so cute! I’m already on my second tube.
