I fully believe in treating the body and the scalp like you treat your face. Bodycare and haircare products are super important! Because of my life-long struggle with eczema, I have consistently used body lotion every single night before bed since I was probably 5 years old. As a result, you’ll see a ton of body lotions on this list, haha. Without further ado, here are my favorite bodycare and haircare products of 2020:
As someone who loves essential oils and aromatherapy, I am obsessed with this spray. I spray it on my pillow and my weighted blanket before bed and it just has such a calming scent. It immediately relaxes you and helps you sleep.
I have loved this for a long time and I’ve gone through numerous tubes. It’s super thick and balmy and amazing. A really great staple for the wintertime or anywhere you have a dry spot. I love to apply it over my cuticles before I go to sleep or even on my lips as a lip balm when they’re super dry.
Because 2020 was such a stressful, tumultuous year, this was the year where I really got more into CBD. Lord Jones always has really great formulas and this CBD body lotion is very moisturizing and calming for the skin.
This is a cream that I use on my eczema, especially on my neck and on my hands. It’s so good. I haven’t used prescription eczema cream in a very long time because of my new eczema regimen, which consists of a combination of diet (like cutting out dairy + other triggers) and product (like this Bodewell cream).
This is a classic. Beautiful design + packaging, beautiful formula, beautiful texture – I have absolutely no complaints. I’ve gone through multiple tubes of this lotion.
This body wash in Eucalyptus has been my favorite recently. It makes me want to buy some eucalyptus and hang it up in my shower! This body wash also makes for an amazing bubble bath.
I don’t usually include fragrances in these favorites posts, but I did this year because I feel like Sundazed is such a bright, warm contrast to this crazy year. It’s a sunny fragrance, like the name suggests. Definitely a mood lifter.
We accumulate so much build-up on our scalps and this scrub is like a deep cleanse for your scalp. Scalp health is super important because it’s the foundation for healthy hair. I included this scrub in my 3 healthy scalp tips for better hair blog post from earlier this year and it’s something I still stand by and feel strongly about.
I didn’t really start using hair masks until the beginning of this year and I can’t believe it took me so long to try them! This is my third or fourth jar of this hair mask. It makes your hair feel so soft and so smooth after you use it.
Last but not least is a clean deodorant I love. (I love both Eucalyptus and Bergamot.) I have even converted Devan into switching over! The formula is gentle but effective and it doesn’t hurt that the packaging is super cute and sleek.
